Prime Minister Mustafa discusses enhancing health sector capacities with WHO Regional Director

Ramallah – Prime Minister’s Office – Prime Minister Dr. Mohammad Mustafa discussed with the World Health Organization (WHO) Regional Director for the Eastern Mediterranean, Dr. Hanan Balkhy, strengthening cooperation in providing emergency health services to the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, supporting the government's initiative to localize medical services, and developing the capacities of the Palestinian health sector.

During a meeting at his office in Ramallah, in the presence of Minister of Health Dr. Majid Abu Ramadan, the Prime Minister expressed appreciation for the support provided by the WHO and for its partnership with the Palestinian Ministry of Health, emphasizing the importance of joint efforts to restore and improve the devastated health system in Gaza in order to meet the needs of the Palestinian people in the war-torn Gaza Strip in a better way after the cessation of the Israeli occupation aggression on Gaza.
