Furthermore, the Prime Minister Dr. Shtayyeh believes that this policy will lead to the region's safety and will help to eliminate Israeli pretexts that divert attention from the Israeli occupation as the primary enemy of Arab and Islamic nations.
The Prime Minister expressed gratitude to South Africa for their decision in reducing diplomatic representation of Israel, praising this position that comes in favor of the Palestinian people, their cause and their legitimate national rights. PM expressed hope that other countries and parliaments will follow suit to bring about justice for the Palestinian people and hold the occupying state accountable for their war crimes. PM Dr. Shattyh highlighted that the silence about these crimes encourages Israel to continue killing Palestinians and denying their human rights.
